Art to Pin Policy

I work very hard to keep the final pin product as close to the original digital art as possible. However, its just not completely possible to keep the art proof 100% exact. I work very closely with my manufacturers and if they deeply suggest I don't do something, I listen.

This can result in lines shifting slightly, or colors being switched last second. All of these changes are with the final products appearance in mind. When preordering from me you must have some flexibility with art to pin transitions. If you need to know what it looks like to feel happy and comfortable please wait until its in hand before purchasing. Disliking my color choices, or line changes are not acceptable reasons to request refunds. Please see my Q&A for further refund, and return policies. 

I will not show art proofs because they can look scary. When makers show you artwork you are seeing the colors in RGB settings, final art proofs are in pantone filtered through RGB, and it looks terrible. I rely on my experience with colors, and my manufacturers in person perspective to bring you lovely colored pins! 

Grading Policy

Pins are handmade and can come with flaws. Here’s how I grade my pins:

Note: I do not grade the back of pins. Sides are also not graded unless plating is peeling. 

Standard pins are pins that have few flaws. 
Flaws can include:
-Light scratches
-Tiny air bubbles
-Minor plating imperfections
-Minor dust
-Flaws on the back of the pin and sides
-Minor enamel overfill/underfill

Seconds/B Grades are pins with more noticeable damage to them, sold at a discounted price because of it.
Flaws with seconds can include:
-Large scratches
-Discoloration
-Low/missing enamel
-Missing metal lines
-Multiple Air Bubbles
-Pin does not Spin or spins slowly

 Lastly, I do offer the service of museum grade pins however this is very costly so I do not suggest it unless you 100% want a pin with absolute perfection. If you want and choose this option it means I will grade every single pin and find the one that is perfect, including art proof pins which normally look perfect. Assume the cost will be 4x the retail price. 

Museums grade includes: No dents, no needle holes, no scuffs, screen print is perfect, metal is perfect, back and sides are perfect, no finger prints, and pin gets shipped in a hard plastic display box after I polish it. 

Museum Grade may be used with preorders but you are subject to the same wait time as everyone else.

 Limited to 1 customer per pin design. 

Preorders

Preorders are a way to claim a pin before they are in hand. This is the only way to guarantee you get a pin, I will not do holds for any circumstances.

Due to covid manufacturing is taking much longer than the normal 4 months. Due to labor shortages, mandatory power outages, and covid import restrictions, it can take over 8 months for very large projects. If you are unwilling to wait for a project to finish do not preorder pins from my store, wait until they are in hand. 

Customers who purchase a preorder product will not be given a refund for reason other than the project being canceled. 

If a project is canceled everyone will be given refunds within 2 months of project cancelation announcement.

Do not under any circumstances purchase a pin you do not want in order to trade for a variant later. I do not have patience to keep track of your request while grading, and packing dozens of orders. You will get the pin on the invoice. People who repeatedly violate this policy will also be banned from participating in preorders. 

Perks of Preorders: small discount, sometimes a sticker, and securing the best quality!

Drawbacks: wait times 1-6 months, run risk of remakes, and even longer wait times with remakes. Size, complexity, and time of year will all effect these wait times. 

 

Returns

All sales are final. Unless there is a major defect that I missed I will not provide a refund without receiving the goods back first.

 

 Shipping

Understand that I want you to have a great experience when shopping with me. However I can not control what happens to your package with it leaves my hands. Even more so, I am not responsible for your package being stolen from your mail box.

I often do not have any leftover pins after in hand drops, and my runs are limited. If you have had mail stolen before please have your post office hold your mail during the week your package is being delivered. You can also sign up for "Informed Delivery" with USPS. Its an amazing tool to keep an eye on your delivery.

International Shipping

All packages come with tracked shipping, however I am not able to see any progress after it leaves the United States. I have no way to know when the package will arrive. I apologize but there isn't a fluid system in place to track packages on my end. Have patience but please message me if a month passes.
